Parish Owned Trees

Marden Parish Council, along with the Medway Valley Countryside Partnership, volunteers and Police Cadets, planted 1000 whips on land to the rear of Marden Cemetery.  Thanks are expressed to everyone who came along to help.

TREE CHARTER DAY

The last Saturday of November each year is Tree Charter Day – a day for the whole of UK society to unite in celebrating the value and importance of trees and woods to people. It also marks the start of National Tree Week each year.
